    How to clean copper contacts?

    Hi, buddies! Can you, pls, tell me what you do to clean copper contacts, appreciate some interesting tricks and hints, as well

    Sand lightly with sand paper. Please go finer than 120, 400 would be best,... and light.

    And use a light coat of some type of die-electric / anti-oxidizer grease when ya' finish up.

    Yes, simple as pie. Some folks may recommend user 600 or 800. Just go light

    I once used sand paper and messed up everything but I was not gentle enough A friend of mine does this every time with perfect results and think that it is time I have another try, this time - softer

    A lighter sandpaper will do the trick, don't overdo the work or else you will mess up the whole setup.
