Re: Can the flavorless liquid be cut with PG and/or VG?

My recommendation is to start out with a 50/50 mix of PG and VG in your e-liquid. Then after you have tried it, you can make adjustments on your next order. If you aren’t getting enough throat hit to satisfy you, then next time try a 30/70 VG/PG mix. If you want more pillowy clouds of smoke, then maybe a 70/30 VG/PG mix is for you.

No, the flavor of the e-liquid has nothing to do with PG and VG. These are two different ingredients and they don`t influence the taste of the e-liquid at all.

I didn`t really understand what our friend here means by cutting with PG or VG. Flavorless e-liquid has no taste, this is obvious so I don`t see what changes could be made by modifying the PG and VG levels.

To be honest, when I do such stuff, I follow Justin`s advice, even though this is the first time I am reading it So far, this way has always helped me with modifying flavorless e-liquids

I know that this is possible and not only this but many people do it without worries, I just don`t feel sure that I can execute the whole process without doing anything wrong

There are many programs to assist in the pursuit of "DIY" e-Liquid. If keeping to Nicotine, PG and/or VG only; there aren’t many variables involved within your question.

Nicotine mg. (strength) will be reduced by addition of ingredients.
(Base Nicotine mg. * Base Nicotine amount used) / (Base Nicotine amount used + amount of PG used + amount of VG used)
    Example:( 50 mg. * 20 ml ) / ( 20 ml. + 16 ml. + 26 ml. ) = 16.13 mg.

There is also the ratio of PG/VG that could be figured. Figure the amounts of each ingredient; PG% = PG amount used / (total amount - the Nicotine amount based on 1000 mg.)
